Siddhartha Institute of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to JNTUH Hyderabad and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. History
The 1st college under Siddhartha Group of Institutions, Siddhartha Degree College for women, was established in the year 1994 in Dilsukhnagar. The group is run by G.P Educational society.
Starting with a meagre strength of 60 students in the 1st batch, the group has grown to 12,000+ students studying in over 20 institutions.
Siddhartha Institute of Engineering & Technology was founded in the year 2008 with 4 branches and strength of 240 students. Today, over 2000 students from all over India study at SIET.

To produce competent, dynamic and multi-talented young professionals matching the contemporary demands of Industry, thereby making them industry ready while at Institution. A humanist and an eminent educationist have put up a great career of nearly 25 years in managing several Educational Institutions. He has done his Ph.D in chemistry from the esteemed Osmania University where earlier he held his Master Programme in Chemistry. Right from his student life he is closely associated with insights in Educational System. He has established Intermediate, Degree, Post-Graduate, Engineering, B.P.ED, B.Ed and MBA colleges through out Andhra Pradesh and has a keen understanding of the student's problems. He maintains a good rapport with his students. He has also produced & acted in a student oriented movie, which projects a thought provoking message for betterment of the student community.

Dr S Vijaya Mohan Rao did M.Tech and Ph.D in Civil Engineering. An Alumini(MIE) of JNTU, Professor of Civil Engineering is specialized in Structural Engineering with 28 Years of Teaching, research and consultancy experience in India and Gulf countries. Research interests are Rehabilition and Retrofitting of structures, Concrete Technology, Structural designs, Special concretes, High performance concrete. He received "Best Doyen" award by journalist federation of India, in the field of education in the year 1995. He has published over various research papers in National and International Journals and conferences.

Dr. D. Pradeep Kumar did his MSc and Ph.D in Chemistry. A young and dynamic scientist holding a doctoral degree from Texas Christian University, USA. He has a vast experience of over a decade as a researcher and has publications in National and International journals, presented papers at various international conferences. He has concurrent Experience as a Teacher and was awarded best teacher 2006 by the University. After his doctoral degree he worked as a post doctoral fellow at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, USA. He also worked as a research scientist in "SAPALA Organics Pvt", Hyderabad before joining Siddhartha.
